For over 20 years, The Tourism Group has delivered on customer and visitor services for various parts of the tourism industry from front line to local government councils, associations, regional, state and national tourism organisations and the Government. Our journey commenced at the Brisbane Airport, operating the Visitor Information Centres at the International and Domestic Terminals, meeting all arriving flights, 365 days of the year. And then implementing the Brisbane Airport Ambassador Program.
The Brisbane Airport Visitor Information Centres (VIC) are open to meet arriving flights and are located within the arrival halls, well positioned to assist passengers in the terminals. Whether they need assistance on the airport precinct, with lost property or whether they are visitors and looking for advice on experiences or to make a booking - our Visitor Information Centre team are there to assist.
International Terminal VIC operates Everyday 5:30am until the last flight (midnight)
Domestic Terminal VIC operates: Mon - Friday: 8:00am - 7:00pm and Sat & Sun: 10:00am - 4:00pm
We are recruiting for shifts at both terminals.
The Brisbane Airport Ambassadors are a team of 140 volunteers whose role on airport is as a 'Day Maker'. They come to the program with a love for travel, a passion to go the extra mile to help passengers and visitors to BNE. You'll find them roaming the International & Domestic Terminals providing invaluable assistance and making people's day, while on airport.

There are a number of shifts available, however we are recruiting for interest in the following shifts:
International terminal:
Morning shift: 8:00am - midday daily
Evening shifts: 3:00pm - 7:00pm daily
Domestic terminal:
Mid-shift: 11:00am - 3:00pm daily
Evening shifts: 3:00pm - 7:00pm daily
All shifts: Sunday
