Brisbane Airport Ambassador Program

What is an Airport Ambassador?

Airport Ambassadors are members of the community who volunteer their time to assist travellers in the Brisbane Airport. They can be found in all areas of both the International and Domestic Terminals during peak travel times. All of our 165+ Ambassadors go through a 3-Month training program which gives them an all-encompassing knowledge of not only Airport procedures but tourism information throughout the Queensland region. From small enquiries about the Airport layout to advice on hotels, transfers, tours and much more, the Airport Ambassadors will have an answer. With such a large number of volunteers the Brisbane Airport Ambassador program is able to gather a vast and varied set of skills. Ambassadors have backgrounds in a range of varied industries and can speak over 20 different languages allowing them to assist a far greater number of travellers from all over the world.

Their desire and commitment to the program is especially notable through the Brisbane Airport Ambassadors receiving Gold in the 2015 Queensland Tourism Awards under the category of Outstanding Contribution by a Volunteer Group. The appreciation for these individuals is never ending and every day the Airport is reminded just how truly amazing they are.
